Imaging Moving Targets for a Forward Scanning SAR without Radar Motion Compensation

Forward scanning SAR (FS-SAR) has recently been presented as a new mode of imaging for automotive radars, providing enhanced azimuth resolution. FS-SAR extended to moving objects. However, it is assumed that the radar motion pre-compensated. Therefore, image reconstruction and focusing have deal with movement target objects only. In practice, not easy compensate for, especially, complex motion, perfectly. in this paper, we modify erstwhile approach targets allow without compensation. Instead joint, image/matrix decomposition, approach, first reconstruct every aperture position then apply matrix decomposition separate from clutter/stationary We show, via two algorithms, namely, compressed sensing based back-projection modified back-projection, proposed provides benefits improved need Real-data experiments corroborate methodology.
